     Osprey, Florida is located in Sarasota County Florida just south of Sarasota in what's referred to as "unincorporated" Sarasota County. Osprey is a diverse community with multi-million dollar homes located on the Intracoastal Waterway with more modest homes just up the road.     Many restaurants can be found in Osprey everything from fresh mahi-mahi or grouper sandwiches to pizza to fine dining. Several restaurants are located on the "Tamiami Trail" US 41. Waterfront dining is available on Blackburn Point Rd.
